Using the Copilot agent

Using our Copilot agent is a great way to experience Swytchcode as an integrated chat. The agent is available on all platforms supported by Copilot, including Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, GitHub, JetBrains, and more. (See the full list here).

Usage

Once you’ve installed Swytchcode, you can open Copilot Chat in any supported IDE or GitHub and invoke Swytchcode by using @swytchcode in the chat. Let’s see an example on how to use Swytchcode on Github

  1. From Github dashboard, open the copilot chat

  1. You should now have the Github copilot chat screen open. On the chat screen, invoke Swytchcode by typing @swytchcode

  1. Try out with help command to see Swytchcode in action
